It comprises a set of competencies for social interaction that individuals and groups attain as a result of the development of cohesive ties, sense of belonginess and emotional security among the members of a community. It therefore follows that social intelligence is the result of socialization, a general learning process through which people adquire relevant knowledge, simbolic frameworks and practical references for social action.
